Lisa Bratsburg

I am a fully licensed Clinical Social Worker and I most often go by "Miss Lisa." I graduated with my Bachelors in Social Work followed by my Masters in Social Work in 2008. For over 15 years I have supported children across residential, school and outpatient therapy settings. I have training in a variety of psychotherapy approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and complimentary therapeutic play strategies with an interoception focus.

My specialties include ADHD, Anxiety, Attachment Concerns, Autism, Depression, Developmental Differences, Divorce, Grief and Loss, LGBTQ+, Life Transitions, Mood Disorders, and Trauma. Sessions are tailored to support unique needs including sensory sensitivities and developmental differences. Movement and activities help build comfort in the office setting. I encourage utilizing the outdoors during session for movement opportunities and practicing Mindfulness techniques in nature.  I often incorporate the Growth Mindset language.

Parenting is HARD. Being a kid is HARD too. I am here to support you and your family. It is a privilege to be welcomed into a child's life and how they experience the world.  As a parent with a young family, we appreciate exploring the beauty of Michigan across the seasons. I love learning of each family’s hopes, dreams, adventures and interests and look forward to hearing yours!
